The mission of the Sylvania Community Arts Commission is to promote the awareness, interest and understanding of performing arts, arts education and visual arts in the greater Sylvania community for residents of all ages.



Youth Classes

Sign-up your student today for one of our youth programs. Both the Shorties U (a 4-week filmmaking workshop) and our Winter Theater Classes ( a 10-week Theater or Musical Theater Class) are great opportunities for students to be creative and learn more about the arts! Open Auditions - Tree City Playhouse

Tree City Playhouse – a new community theatre programming effort of the Sylvania Community Arts Commission – and Lourdes University Drama Society are collaborating to present a Festival of One Acts from April 8–10. Auditions are scheduled for this Wednesday and Thursday, February 10th and 11th, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Franciscan Center of Lourdes University. No preparation is necessary and auditions are open to all performers 18 years of age and older.

2016 Maple & Main Art Fair

The 5th Annual Maple and Main Art Fair is Saturday June 11th & Sunday June 12th. We are now taking applications for artists wishing to be considered. Apply online through Zapplication.
